The accommodation gets its name from the two Spectacled Bears, Rina and Oberon, who live next to the site and often pop over to say hello to guests!
On-site there is a restaurant, café and a play area (you can request a tent opposite this). Your stay also includes FREE entry to Port Lympne Reserve and Howletts Wild Animal Park.
Up to 8 guests can stay in one of Port Lympne’s larger tents. Each tent includes bedding, en-suite toilet and shower, wood burning stoves, sofa-bed, table and chairs, mini-fridge, and a kitchen unit with space for making tea/coffee and washing up – essential if you have little ones in tow.

Longberry Farm Glamping, Bethersden
Longberry Farm Glamping is a site renowned for its welcoming atmosphere. The three luxury 5m bell tents are filled with creature comforts and set in a tranquil spot, close to local attractions.
Each tent sleeps 4 people, plus an additional child under 3 years old (bring your own travel cot). Adults can sleep in a proper double bed and there are two single blow up mattresses for the kiddies.
The accommodation is kitted out with all the luxuries of home, including soft furnishings, towels, fire pit, outside seating and lighting, all essential cooking equipment, and even a selection of board games and outdoor toys. Like in traditional camp sites, the toilet facilities are shared. However, visitors report that they a kept to a high standard and are a step above normal expectations.
Price: Peak season (June to August) costs £130 per night. Off peak (April, May, Sept, Oct) it’s £85 per night Mon-Thurs and £130 per night Fri-Sun.

Bloomsburys Biddenden, Biddenden
Yurts, tepees and Safari lodges – this is a great place for families looking for an alternative holiday. Rather than a camp site, Bloomsburys is more like a therapeutic resort due to its peaceful gardens and Wellness Centre that offers weekly treatments and classes. The tents have a rustic, Bedouin atmosphere that perfectly suits their environment.
The accommodation comes with beds and bedding, lighting, heating, electric sockets, seating, water supply, mini-fridge (some with a small freezer section), cooking equipment, kettle, fire pit and small gas burner (on request). On site there is a restaurant and bar, and the site regularly hosts wellbeing workshops and live music events.
Price: A two night stay for a family of four ranges from £200 in the low season to £360 at peak times.

Ready Camp, Canterbury
This glamping site benefits from its close proximity to Canterbury, Kent’s most-visited city. What’s more, the Ready Camp sites have been created by the Camping and Caravanning Club, who definitely know a thing or two about camping holidays!
Each canvas tent has 2 bedrooms, sleeping up to 4 adults and 2 children, with proper beds, a sofa and a dining area. The contemporary tents all have an electricity supply and fully functioning kitchens. The only thing you need to bring is your own bedding, towels and a travel cot, if needed. The shaded veranda is a lovely place to sit and relax once the little ones are settled in bed.
On-site you will find clean toilets and hot showers, washing up facilities and a children’s play area.
